My Photography Journey

In 1999, with a growing interest in photography, i bought my first camera, a Rollei compact film camera. My passion became much more predominant when I bought the first digital camera, a Canon Ixus, in 2003.

With the work nature of previous career engagements in corporation business development, I stationed and traveled to different countries, namely North Korea, Egypt, the Philippines, Brazil, the USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc. I developed a deep interest in mankind and its cultural differences. As a hobby, I took the golden opportunity to practice photography creatively and extensively by capturing the scenery and people encountered.

Due to the constant discontent with the result, I took a photography diploma course to lay down a solid foundation of knowledge.

With a strong determination to pursue continuous breakthroughs, I experimented and practiced different imaginable shooting methods tirelessly; and excelled in my self-taught skills at a faster pace.

I have developed from a casual photography hobbyist into a passionate photographer, dedicated to sharing the beauty of humankind and nature through storytelling photographs, particularly the joy of photography.
